Gold Standard is a partnership between the Cabinet Office and Selex Sistemi Integrati, created to deliver the only UK Government accredited Multi-Agency, Civil Command Team training solution in the UK and worldwide. Gold Standard represents a step change in the UK's capability for the provision of effective management of major emergencies and events. The training is based around a constructive simulation that stimulates Gold Command Teams working in their own environments with their local commanders driving the exercise. Training can be tailored for specific Multi-Agency Civil Command training exercises and delivered either at the Emergency Planning College in Easingwold, near York, or at a customer's chosen location.
